Brocklamps make exclusively creative lights. Each one is hand-crafted with attention to detail and to the environment using reclaimed and upcycled materials. They are fun, quirky and positively engaging.
Each Brocklamp is unique (unless it's one of pair!) and care and creative thought has been given to ensure your lamp is safe, useful, and special. 'Flash'
Flash appeals to a photographer or technologist. Based on a bulb flashgun, a light meter, and a distance gauge, these are all recycled items found in an antiques shop. The base is a recycled fruit bowl.
'Dolphins'
This pair of lights, for a bedside for example, is based on upcycled wine bottle holders which were destined for landfill. The lights use natural materials, and uniquely have both bulb holder switches and cable switches, anticipating a variety of uses and settings.
'Africa'
Africa features wooden hand carved animals found at a local outdoor fair, a rhinoceros, a hippopotamus and a zebra. The ensemble is topped by a savannah silhouette lampshade which highlights the bush when illuminated.
Safety
Brocklamps are handmade in the to the highest standards. All electrical components are brand new. The bulb holders are made to BS standard, and are all switched (additional cable switches are also added to some lamps). A safety device means they can't be turned on without a bulb - and will automatically switch off if the bulb is removed. All lamps are earthed, and insulation tested, and then subject to a full certified PAT test for electrical safety.
